Recruiting Coordinator

About the Role

Impulse Space is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to ensure an outstanding candidate experience by supporting recruiters and hiring managers in talent acquisition efforts. This position is responsible for managing interview logistics, aiding onboarding processes, maintaining candidate data, and performing various administrative duties within the People Operations department based in Redondo Beach.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling for phone, virtual, and in-person interviews across different time zones and departments.
• Collaborate closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and executive assistants to facilitate efficient appointment management.
• Communicate detailed interview information to both candidates and interviewers promptly.
• Arrange meeting rooms, assist with candidate travel logistics when necessary, and welcome onsite candidates.
• Support preparation of offer letters and completion of new hire documentation.
• Facilitate smooth transitions from recruitment to onboarding phases.
• Monitor completion status of onboarding paperwork and background verifications.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in Pinpoint ATS and ensure data integrity for recruiting reports and metrics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent credential.
• At least one year of experience in recruiting coordination, human resources assistance, or administrative roles.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and excellent time management skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a dynamic work environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is favored.
• Two or more years working with ATS systems like Pinpoint, Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, or iCIMS.
• Experience coordinating high-volume recruitment in technology, aerospace, or fast-paced startup settings.
• Knowledge of onboarding procedures and HRIS platforms.

Additional Details

Compensation ranges from $30 to $34 per hour and may vary depending on role, level, location, and qualifications. Full-time employees may also have access to long-term incentives such as stock options, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, and 401(k) retirement plans.
