QuanTech Partners is a rapidly expanding trading firm grounded in market making, actively operating in the UAE and international exchanges. The organization leverages state-of-the-art technology to enhance capital markets and aims to foster a more diverse and dynamic financial ecosystem in the region. As the firm grows its trading desk, it seeks to add two traders to its team: one senior leader and one emerging trader with strong aptitude.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct trade executions across various financial instruments including equities, bonds, commodities, and derivatives in UAE and global markets.
• Provide liquidity and ensure market orderliness while maintaining effective risk management strategies.
• Analyse market data both fundamentally and technically to uncover viable trading opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with quantitative developers and fellow traders to refine and implement trading strategies.
• For senior traders: mentor and guide junior team members to support their professional development.
• Adhere strictly to UAE financial regulations, exchange standards, and internal company policies.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in financial markets, particularly equity trading; senior candidates usually possess over seven years of experience, while promising junior traders with potential are also encouraged to apply.
• Background in execution, market making, or quantitative trading environments preferred.
• Familiarity with algorithmic or systematic trading is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with capacity for rapid decision-making under pressure.
• Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM discipline.
• Proficient with trading platforms such as Bloomberg and Refinitiv.
• Experience on buy-side or sell-side execution and knowledge of institutional order types is a plus.
