Quality Assurance Tester

About the Role

Meril is seeking Quality Assurance professionals for positions based in Vapi, Gujarat. The openings include a QA Lead with over 3 years of experience and Manual + Automation QA Engineers with at least 1 year of experience. The projects involve working on an AI-driven drug discovery platform utilizing FastAPI-based microservices and React.js for front-end development.

Responsibilities

• Formulate the overall QA strategy and outline a comprehensive testing roadmap.
• Lead efforts in automating UI and API testing processes.
• Conduct API testing specifically for microservice architectures.
• Ensure robustness in system reliability, performance, and scalability standards.
• Work collaboratively with both backend and frontend development teams.
• As an additional advantage, carry out load and stress testing evaluations.
• For QA Engineers: Perform exploratory, usability, and edge case testing for complex workflows.
• Validate both user interfaces and APIs through manual testing and automation scripts.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, and Pytest.
• Expertise in UI automation, preferably using Selenium with Python and Robot Framework.
• Strong knowledge and experience in testing microservices.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and Document Object Model (DOM) fundamentals.
• Fundamental expertise in manual testing concepts.
• Ability to understand frontend behaviors, including UI validation and DOM interactions.
