About the Role

Parsons is hiring an experienced QA/QC Inspector in Qatar to help maintain high standards across construction work. The position focuses on verifying compliance, keeping quality on track, and supporting timely delivery within budget and to the required specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out detailed checks of construction activities to confirm alignment with approved drawings, quality benchmarks, safety rules, and legal requirements.
Track site progress and flag quality concerns early, along with practical recommendations to correct them.
Review materials and workmanship to make sure they satisfy project specifications and quality expectations.
Maintain clear records of inspections, including daily logs, safety documentation, and quality control findings.
Work closely with construction teams to support effective QA/QC implementation throughout the project.
Help maintain site safety by ensuring workers follow required safety procedures and by reducing construction-related risk.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to secure the timely availability of materials and services needed for quality activities.
Support testing and commissioning so that completed works meet functional and quality requirements before handover.

Required Qualifications and Experience

A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline, from an accredited institute.
At least 10 years of QA/QC inspection experience, including a minimum of 5 years with a consultancy firm in an inspection capacity on major infrastructure projects such as roads, drainage networks, water supply systems, and sewer systems.
Solid knowledge of QA/QC standards, technical codes, and regulatory requirements.
Comfort using MS Office and inspection reporting tools/software.
Strong English proficiency with clear written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Self-driven problem solving and the flexibility to respond quickly to changing site conditions.
Strong eye for detail when reviewing construction work for accuracy and compliance.
Ability to manage several inspection tasks and priorities at once.
Working familiarity with international construction standards and local regulations, especially in the Middle East or GCC region.
Exposure to AutoCAD and other QA/QC-related design tools.
Capacity to work effectively under pressure while handling multiple projects.
