QA Engineer

Overview

This role involves designing and expanding automation frameworks for UI, API, and microservice testing using Python or similar languages. Candidates will leverage AI and large language model (LLM) based tools to create, optimize tests, and analyze defects. The position requires leading performance testing efforts, including load, stress, and endurance tests, to ensure system scalability. Emphasis is on adopting quality engineering best practices such as shift-left testing, API testing, observability, and integrating tests within CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and scale automation frameworks for user interfaces, APIs, and microservices using Python or comparable languages.
• Use AI-driven and LLM-powered tools to generate and refine tests as well as to analyze defects efficiently.
• Lead performance testing activities encompassing load, stress, and endurance tests to enhance system scalability.
• Implement quality engineering principles focusing on early testing, API validations, system observability, and seamless CI/CD integration.
• Validate comprehensive banking workflows, including transactional processes, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance checks.
• Utilize Docker containers for test execution environments, supporting scalable and repeatable automation pipelines.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including engineering, product, and QA leads to devise and execute test strategies aligned with project requirements.
• Understand and manage quality of service parameters covering both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Maintain traceability between business requirements, functional specifications, code artifacts, test scenarios, and test cases.

Core Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in quality assurance, automation, and performance testing.
• Proficiency in Python or an equivalent scripting language relevant to automation.
• Experience with AI-assisted testing technologies such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or OpenAI-based tools.
• Hands-on knowledge of automation frameworks like Playwright or Selenium.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, Azure, AWS) and microservices architectures.
• Working knowledge of banking industry processes and domain-specific requirements.

• Location constraints: This position is exclusively for candidates based in Mumbai, specifically Andheri and Airoli.
• Experience range requirement: 5 to 13 years in related domains.
