Role Overview
As a Purchase Manager at Acute Systems and Solutions, based in Surat, Gujarat, you will be entrusted with managing end-to-end procurement activities to ensure seamless supply chain operations, cost efficiency, and supplier relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough market research and leverage industry contacts to source and select suitable vendors.
- Assess suppliers for financial health, production capabilities, and adherence to quality standards to ensure reliable partnerships.
- Handle negotiations on contracts, pricing, payment terms, delivery timelines, and quality benchmarks.
- Forge and sustain robust relationships with suppliers for long-term collaboration.
- Generate and manage purchase orders accurately in line with company guidelines.
- Monitor order progress and coordinate deliveries to guarantee timely receipt of materials.
- Proactively resolve any supply chain interruptions or delays that arise.
- Oversee inventory levels to maintain sufficient stocks according to organizational needs.
- Liaise with relevant departments to accurately understand raw material and packaging requirements.
- Keep meticulous documentation of inventory records and procurement processes.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement effective strategies for procurement expense optimization.
- Compile comprehensive procurement reports detailing purchase orders, supplier performance, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure all procurement activities are properly recorded and comply with internal policies and regulatory standards.
