Project Manager Role Overview

This position is based in Singapore and entails taking full responsibility for coordinating and driving project efforts to ensure successful completion. The role demands leading the team, monitoring progress, and maintaining constant communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive project coordination, status tracking, and execution to deliver results effectively.
• Design and apply uniform project management processes that guarantee timely delivery, budget compliance, high quality, and user satisfaction.
• Develop detailed project plans, delegate tasks to team members, supervise daily operations, assess quality, and resolve any challenges impacting function, quality, or scheduling.
• Monitor critical milestones and dynamically adjust resources and strategies in response to changing client needs.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders about project scope, budget constraints, risks, and resource demands.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
• Certification in Project Management or completion of an accredited project management program is mandatory.
• Between 8 to 15 years of IT sector experience, including 5 to 8 years spearheading projects.
• Experience in banking domains such as wholesale banking, transaction banking, payments and collections, retail and mobile banking, and digital channels.
• Proven expertise in end-to-end project delivery lifecycle, Agile and Waterfall methodologies, process reengineering, and managing a minimum of three projects with budgets ranging from SGD 10 to 25 million.
• Technical knowledge of core banking systems, SWIFT, and online and mobile platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management skills including senior-level engagement, leadership across functions, and coordination with vendors.
• Demonstrated proficiency managing projects cutting across various technologies and business functions.
• Deep familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, resource management, and change management.
• Preferred background in the financial or banking sectors.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders including business and system teams.
• Quick adaptability to internal compliance and governance procedures.
• Competence in preparing and delivering project status reports to senior management.
