Role Overview

The Project Manager will be based in Thane/Mumbai and will lead projects that influence the development of smart infrastructure at city and national levels. This position involves managing projects from conception through completion by working closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Define clear project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Create comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource distribution schedules.
• Coordinate efforts among internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Continuously monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to plans.
• Manage project scope changes, deadlines, and budgets using proper validation methods.
• Utilize suitable tools to assess project performance effectively.
• Report significant issues promptly and escalate to management when required.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle; handle claim management activities.
• Maintain thorough documentation covering all project phases.
• Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships and facilitate transparent communication throughout project duration.
• Conduct project status presentations for management and clients.
• Visit customer locations and project sites for meetings and operational activities.
• Assist with invoicing and collection processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) is mandatory.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or IPMA certifications are advantageous.
• Over 10 years of project management experience, ideally within the SCADA industry.
• Proficient in project management software such as MS Project.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Sound understanding of project management methodologies.
