A reputable authorized Daikin dealership based in Kharadi, Pune, specializes in executing commercial, industrial, and high-end residential HVAC projects throughout Pune and nearby areas.

Role Summary

The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing complete project execution of HVAC systems including site management, installation supervision, vendor coordination, and the testing and commissioning of equipment. This position requires regular travel to various project sites within Pune and surrounding regions, necessitating ownership of a two-wheeler with a valid driving license for client and site visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the on-site installation of Daikin HVAC solutions such as VRV/VRF units, ductable systems, chillers, and associated components in accordance with approved engineering designs.
• Frequently visit project locations to monitor installation quality, schedule adherence, and compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with clients, civil contractors, architects, and interior designers to troubleshoot technical issues and avoid delays.
• Manage material requirements by preparing BOQs and tracking equipment and supplies to ensure timely provisioning.
• Perform pressure testing, vacuuming, gas charging, and balancing operations prior to system handover.
• Ensure all work aligns with Daikin’s engineering and safety standards.
• Supervise subcontractors, duct teams, technicians, and laborers to meet daily progress targets.
• Prepare measurement sheets, joint measurement records, and progress reports to assist commercial teams in billing and variation approvals.
• Handle project handover tasks including preparation of as-built drawings, securing client sign-offs, and facilitating basic operational training for client personnel.

Candidate Requirements

• 2 to 5+ years of verified experience in HVAC project execution focusing on VRV/VRF and central air conditioning systems.
• Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency in interpreting HVAC design drawings, ducting, copper piping, and electrical schematics.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout Pune and nearby areas using personal two-wheeler.
• Proficient communication skills in Hindi, Marathi, and basic English.
• Strong aptitude for problem solving and managing installation teams effectively under deadlines.

Selection Process

• Initial telephonic screening assessing experience and commuting feasibility.
• Technical interview evaluating HVAC knowledge and drawing interpretation.
• Final face-to-face discussion with Business Head or Director.
