About the Role
This contract position of Project Coordinator Specialist is based in Toronto with a hybrid onsite arrangement, lasting for 6 months. A background check is mandatory for candidates. The ideal candidate should have around six years of experience coordinating projects, preferably operating within the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the enablement of project outcomes by assisting in defining dependency scopes and intake procedures during planning phases.
- Collaborate in the development and upkeep of financial estimates, business case documentation, and data analytics.
- Under leadership direction, aid in project intake, demand management, prioritization, and review of issues, risk factors, change requests, and dependencies.
- Generate delivery health and status reports, manage data and reports via Planview, track value delivery, and coordinate demand and capacity aspects.
- Identify and recommend process improvements, automation opportunities, and address inefficiencies.
- Implement secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to protect data and technology solutions against vulnerabilities and threats.
- Communicate and provide visibility regarding program and portfolio matters.
- Prepare and analyze program and portfolio financials, monitor variances, and report financials to Delivery Leaders or Business Solution Area Leaders.
- Assist with resource capacity planning according to roadmap schedules and support leaders in resource allocation and assignment using standard tools.
- Ensure appropriate staffing information is provided to align staffing levels with all demand factors affecting the area.
Skills and Qualifications
- Expert proficiency in Planview software for both data input and report generation.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience or skills in business analysis are highly desirable.
- Ability to operate effectively in the PST time zone.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate among various stakeholders.
