Role overview

This is a full-time, on-site position in Auckland for a seasoned Program Test Manager. The role focuses on leading testing from start to finish for large, complex transformation programs, with emphasis on quality, governance, and delivery success across corporate, finance, and insurance environments.

What you will do

You will shape and oversee program-level testing strategy, coordinate test planning and execution across multiple workstreams, and ensure testing outcomes support business goals and release timelines. The role also involves managing test teams, vendors, and delivery partners, while maintaining strong stakeholder communication.

• Own and guide the overall test strategy and governance for the program.
• Lead testing across Oracle Fusion ERP, EPM, and HCM platforms.
• Coordinate multiple testing streams such as vendor testing, SIT, UAT, CVT, and PVT.
• Align testing deliverables with business objectives and release schedules.
• Manage cross-functional stakeholders, suppliers, and implementation partners.
• Promote shift-left practices and automation-supported delivery.
• Protect finance integrity through reconciliations and accurate reporting.
• Monitor defect governance, execution status, and environment readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement and stronger testing practices.

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings deep testing leadership experience and strong knowledge of enterprise transformation programs, especially in finance and insurance settings. Hands-on familiarity with data testing tools and platforms is also important.

• At least 7 years of experience in test management or program testing.
• Strong background in Oracle Fusion, ERP, EPM, and HCM.
• Experience working on insurance and enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Good understanding of finance processes, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Practical exposure to Databricks, DBT, and data-focused testing.
• Ability to lead large teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders.
• Solid foundation in test strategy, governance, and automation.
