Role overview
VARITE is seeking an experienced Program Coordinator for a hybrid role based in San Jose, California. This position supports a client’s global wellbeing and benefits initiatives by coordinating year-round events, activities, and related communications.

The end client is a U.S.-based software company known for products spanning web design, image editing, vector graphics, video and audio production, mobile app development, print layout, and animation tools.

Key responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate events and activities throughout the year that align with the global wellbeing and benefits agenda.
- Work closely with internal partners such as GWS, Events, Talent Development, Site Councils, Legal, D&I, Safety and Security, and the Employee Resource Center.
- Gather and review data to spot program opportunities, assess impact, and define measurable performance benchmarks.
- Keep all program materials current, including both internal and external collateral.
- Handle escalations and respond to policy-interpretation requests from vendors and internal client-facing teams.
- Collect content and inputs for quarterly toolkits supporting U.S. and global teams.
- Coordinate with Employee Communications and external communication consultants to deliver program-related employee messaging.
Required skills and experience
- Proven experience taking projects from initial concept through execution.
- Strong project coordination, issue resolution, and detail-oriented working style.
- Ability to stay productive in uncertain situations and work independently.
- Skilled at managing several priorities, projects, and deadlines at the same time.
- Excellent organization and time management abilities in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong interpersonal presence with the ability to influence decisions.
- Comfortable collaborating across global time zones through email and video meetings.
- Clear verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Working knowledge of HR systems, preferably Workday and ServiceNow, plus case management tracking tools.
- Advanced MS Office capability, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Education and experience
A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent evidence of exceptional capability. The role requires 5+ years of experience managing communications, engagement, and onsite event activities.
Compensation and contract details
This is a 12-month contract assignment with a possible extension. The pay range is $50.00 to $56.33 per hour on W2.
