Job Summary
They seek a skilled Production Support Engineer to join their Singapore-based team. The role involves monitoring and troubleshooting mission-critical trading and market data platforms, managing production incidents, performing root cause analysis, and collaborating with international technology teams to ensure continuous availability and reliable operations.
Work Schedule
This role follows a four-day work week with mandatory weekend shifts to maintain seamless handovers and 24/7 service coverage across global teams.
Key Qualifications and Experience
- At least 4 years’ experience in production or application support, technical operations, or a related technical support capacity.
- Background in supporting financial trading platforms, market data systems, exchanges, or comparable mission-critical environments.
- Proficiency with Linux/UNIX systems and SQL query skills for effective troubleshooting and data evaluation.
- Experience in managing production incidents, conducting thorough root cause analysis, and driving timely resolution.
- Understanding of APIs, networking basics, log file examination, and use of system monitoring utilities.
- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of financial market instruments including equities, options, futures, foreign exchange, or market data flows.
- Strong communication capabilities with a demonstrated ability to engage with global stakeholders in a 24/7 operational setting.
- Willingness to work permanently on weekend shifts in alignment with the follow-the-sun support strategy.
