Role Overview
The Product Operations Lead holds a crucial role within the store leadership team, driving implementation of product strategies, managing inventory operations, and overseeing the back-of-house product organization. They lead inventory adjustments, ensure both the sales floor and storage are efficiently stocked and arranged, and contribute to team member performance reviews, hiring, and coaching. When on the sales floor, they deliver exceptional customer service and technical product knowledge.
Primary Duties
- Work closely with store leadership to realize product strategies.
- Proactively organize and lead inventory processing and accuracy in alignment with established procedures.
- Manage execution of product-related tasks such as pull backs, consolidations, and repricing.
- Implement omnichannel initiatives like ship-from-store following company guidelines.
- Create engaging and productive environments during inventory shifts for team involvement.
- Lead actively on the sales floor to address operational, team, and guest needs dynamically.
- Monitor product stock levels and communicate insights to support sales and product availability strategies.
- Analyze daily sales data to advise leadership on product focus areas and pricing decisions, especially for outlet stores.
- Bring product stories to life for enhanced guest experiences.
- Participate in recruitment, selection, onboarding, and training processes.
- Support team development through feedback, coaching, recognition, and hands-on learning.
- Foster a respectful, inclusive team atmosphere by building supportive relationships.
- Lead by example on the floor to ensure guests receive knowledgeable technical product guidance and outstanding service.
Candidate Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in the store's country.
- Reliable transportation to reach assigned store locations.
- Availability to work variable shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays, and potentially early mornings or overnight shifts compliant with local laws.
- A minimum of one year professional experience.
- Background in inventory management, product or visual merchandising, stocking, or planning and logistics involving business technologies.
- Experience leading, mentoring, delegating tasks, or implementing processes with others.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, or higher.
- Experience in retail, sales, distribution centers, or warehouse operations.
- Capability in interpreting business reports and data to guide decision-making.

Work Context

- May occasionally require lifting boxes up to 30 pounds (13.6 kg) or using ladders to access items.
