Overview

We are collaborating with a prominent investment firm seeking a Private Equity Analyst/Associate to join their technology-focused team based in Philadelphia, PA.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and execute investment opportunities within the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors by performing comprehensive market research, financial assessments, and commercial due diligence.
• Develop and update intricate financial models encompassing operating projections, valuation techniques such as discounted cash flow, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and leveraged buyout models, along with return projections to inform investment decisions.
• Conduct industry and company-specific research to spot new technology trends, analyze competition, and highlight promising investment themes; aid in sourcing deals and managing the deal pipeline.
• Organize due diligence efforts collaborating with company executives, advisors, and external consultants to evaluate financial, operational, legal, and commercial risks.
• Assist portfolio companies in generating value by monitoring financial performance, driving strategic projects, preparing board presentations, reporting key performance indicators, and analyzing opportunities for growth, mergers & acquisitions, and exit planning.
