About the Role
Ocean Gate is looking for a diligent and proactive Pricing & Logistics Specialist to assist with logistics and fulfillment tasks throughout the GCC region. This position involves creating pricing quotations, coordinating logistics partnerships and carriers, addressing customer inquiries, and acting as a communication link between clients, sales, and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate precise pricing quotes covering storage, fulfillment, transportation, and shipping services.
- Collaborate with carriers, logistics partners, and internal teams to secure competitive pricing and service offerings.
- Support the sales department with timely provision of pricing and logistics solutions.
- Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate fulfillment and distribution services.
- Maintain and regularly update pricing resources, rate sheets, and service details.
- Coordinate closely with operations to ensure pricing accuracy and feasibility of services.
- Keep track of shipping cost trends, market developments, and rivalling price points.
- Assist in preparing customer proposals, service contracts, and business documentation.
- Monitor quotation requests and follow up to optimize conversion rates.
- Keep CRM and operational systems updated accurately.
- Manage customer onboarding and implementation tasks.
- Prepare periodic reports on pricing activities, quotations, and key business metrics.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related fields is preferred.
- Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, fulfillment, e-commerce, 3PL, transportation, or supply chain operations.
- Experience with pricing, sales support, quotations, customer service, or logistics coordination is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of CRM, ERP, or logistics management software is a plus.
