About the role

HSBC is seeking a Premier Service Manager in Abu Dhabi for an UAE National candidate. This position sits within the Premier relationship team and is designed to strengthen the support provided to Premier clients while freeing up Premier Wealth Relationship Managers (PWRMs) to spend more time in front of customers.

The role is focused on delivering a smooth, high-quality client experience for affluent customers and helping the team achieve key outcomes across activity management, client satisfaction, sales quality, acquisition, recurring income, and overall portfolio growth.

What you will do

  • Deliver effective sales support to a group of PWRMs, especially by arranging appointments and assisting them in day-to-day client servicing.
  • Reduce the administrative and process workload handled by PWRMs so they can focus more on client-facing activity.
  • Assist with client contact and service tasks, including answering calls, resolving transactional queries, managing reminders for important events, and routing requests to the right teams where needed.
  • Prepare sales paperwork, enter and manage data, produce reports, and coordinate with support teams to move client purchase requests forward.
  • Keep wealth deal input quality errors within acceptable limits.
  • Deal with client questions and complaints from the PWRM portfolio promptly and professionally, aiming to resolve issues at first contact whenever possible and limiting unnecessary escalations for routine matters.
  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of the PWRM client base using CRM and analytical tools.
  • Respond proactively to clients in person or by phone, and keep client profile records updated with interaction details.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the relevant products and services.
  • Support PWRMs in recommending appropriate solutions for the products they handle and ensure effective follow-up through to completion.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in the financial services sector is preferred, especially in retail or premier sales.
  • Understanding of core banking products, the Premier proposition, and retail and wealth product processes.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management systems and relationship manager platforms.
  • Good working knowledge of branch operations and procedures.
  • Money Laundering Awareness Certificate is preferred.
  • Knowledge of relevant market regulatory governance.
  • Strong understanding of HSBC and personal banking.
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively.
  • Knowledge of local regulations and group compliance requirements.
  • Ability to deliver strong client experience and needs-based solutions through communication, influencing, and sales skills.
  • Must be willing and able to obtain any professional and regulatory qualifications required by the market.
