About the role

Applegreen is hiring an energetic, customer-minded Food Team Member for its new Popeyes quick service restaurant at Midway Complex, M7 Junction 17 (N77, R423, Meelick, Portlaoise). This role suits someone who enjoys serving people, keeping pace in a busy setting, and delivering food and service that meet high standards.

You will report to the Restaurant General Manager and act as a visible representative of the brand, helping ensure customers receive consistently good food and a positive experience that encourages repeat visits.

Key duties

• Cook, prepare, and serve menu items in line with brand specifications, with attention to quality and presentation.
• Offer warm, efficient service to customers throughout the day.
• Use tills, process payments, and help resolve customer questions.
• Keep the kitchen, serving counters, and dining area clean and orderly.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health and safety rules and routines.
• Assist with deliveries, storage, and stock rotation when needed.
• Work closely with the wider team to hit daily goals and maintain operational standards.
