Pharmacy Technician at Turners Cross Allcare - McCartan's Pharmacy

About the Role

Turners Cross Allcare, a well-established family-operated community pharmacy in Cork, is looking to expand its dedicated team. We seek a skilled pharmacy technician to join a dynamic dispensary department and assist the pharmacist in delivering excellent care by managing prescription dispensing and patient guidance.

Working Hours

This position is full-time with regular hours from 9 AM to 6 PM on weekdays, and alternating Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately under pharmacist supervision.
• Manage and maintain stock levels by ordering required medicines.
• Prepare blister packs efficiently.
• Keep track of reimbursement claims accurately.

Qualifications and Skills

• Completion of a certified pharmacy technician course is mandatory.
• Preferably at least two years of experience working in dispensary roles.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with the team and customers.
• Knowledge or experience with MPS Software is advantageous.
• Certification in Over The Counter Medicine is required.
• Personal traits sought include friendliness, diligence, and team collaboration to integrate well with the existing pharmacy team.
