Role overview
Manchester United is looking for a Personal Assistant to support senior leaders with a high standard of proactive, discreet, and organised administrative assistance. The position helps keep executive priorities on track so leadership can work efficiently, make sound decisions, and maintain effective relationships across and beyond the club.
This role is based across Carrington Training Complex and Old Trafford Stadium. It sits within a fast-moving elite sports setting where adaptability, sound judgement, and confidentiality are essential.
What you will do
You will handle demanding diaries, arrange meetings and travel, prepare important documents, and serve as a dependable contact for senior stakeholders. The role also involves supporting matchday and weekend operations, helping with events, and contributing to improvement projects that strengthen operational efficiency.
What the club is looking for
The ideal candidate will bring strong organisational capability, confidence working independently, and the ability to stay composed under pressure. You will need to manage sensitive information carefully, communicate clearly, and use initiative in a busy environment. Flexibility is important, as the job may require evenings, weekends, full days, and matchdays.
Desirable background
Experience in a sports setting, especially football, would be an advantage. Familiarity with the pace and expectations of elite sport operations, event coordination, cross-functional teamwork, CRM systems, scheduling platforms, or executive reporting tools would also be beneficial.
Benefits and rewards
Manchester United offers a range of rewards and support designed to look after your professional development and personal wellbeing.
- Annual incentive scheme recognising commitment and performance
- 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to buy extra holiday
- Electric vehicle scheme through Octopus and a cycle-to-work scheme
- Wellbeing support through Aviva Digicare+ Workplace, including mental health resources, digital health checks, and nutrition support
- Access to exclusive discounts via the United Rewards platform
- Onsite gym facilities, along with regular social and team-building activities
- Enhanced family leave policies and benefits

- A workplace culture that values diversity, equity, inclusion, and personal growth
