Overview
This role is for an office-based personal assistant with Accurate Indigenous Managers & Advisors in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The position supports day-to-day administrative coordination and communication across the team.
Language
English is required for this position.
Education
A secondary school graduation certificate is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.
Experience
Applicants should have 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience.
Work Location
This is an on-site position. Work must be completed at the physical workplace, and remote work is not available.
Responsibilities
- Keep information moving smoothly within the team and ensure communication is organized.
- Sort, open, and distribute incoming mail and related materials.
- Prepare minutes for meetings, seminars, and conferences.
- Arrange and confirm appointments and schedules.
- Handle phone calls, take messages, and route calls as needed.
- Respond to electronic inquiries in a timely manner.
- Gather data, figures, and other reference information.
- Order office supplies and track stock levels.
- Coordinate travel plans, itineraries, and reservations.
- Welcome visitors and direct them to the right contact or service area.
- Type, review, and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
- Carry out data entry tasks accurately.
- Provide customer service support.
