Role Summary

We are inviting applications for a People Technology Functional Support Specialist focused on sustaining and enhancing the Workday platform post-implementation. The role entails daily operational management, issue diagnosis and resolution, supporting process enhancements, updating configurations, and collaborating with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and external partners to align Workday functionality with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver consistent post-launch support for the Workday platform addressing system issues, data inconsistencies, security matters, and process malfunctions.
  • Manage and resolve tickets, defects, integration faults, and user inquiries efficiently, escalating complex concerns appropriately.
  • Maintain Workday configurations reflecting evolving business policies, compliance, and structural changes.
  • Coordinate system maintenance activities including release management, feature adoption, regression testing, and documentation upkeep under governance regimes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine Workday-supported business processes, enhancing efficacy, compliance, user satisfaction, and data accuracy.
  • Translate operational requirements into effective functional designs and system modifications.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for Workday-related matters between HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and other teams, facilitating clear communication of system capabilities and limitations.
  • Lead testing and validation efforts including unit, integration, and user acceptance tests for new functionality and patches.
  • Ensure data quality and security compliance through regular audits, reporting, and access reviews.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation such as SOPs, configuration records, knowledge bases, and training materials.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, IT, or related fields.
  • Experience in supporting Workday environments post-go-live, with practical knowledge of modules such as HCM, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Talent, Benefits, Payroll, or Security.
  • Strong grasp of Workday processes, configuration, and tenant management within a support framework.
  • Proven ability in requirement gathering, issue troubleshooting, and facilitating system improvements.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving aptitude, and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in both functional and technical Workday streams.
  • Experience participating in Workday implementation, stabilization, or optimization projects.
