Role Overview

We are seeking a People Partner to join the People and Places team at Twitch, reporting to the Director of People Business Partners and Employee Relations. This role supports employees, senior managers, and Principal People Business Partners by championing people programs and enhancing employee experiences. Key to success is building strong relationships, understanding business needs, and championing our unique culture through organized, attentive, and proactive engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with leaders up to the senior manager level, acting as an intermediary between business teams and the People department.
• Coach senior managers on behaviors affecting employee engagement and retention, guiding them on leveraging resources to improve team communication, recognition, and performance dialogues.
• Provide frontline support to employees by addressing inquiries and concerns sensitively and ensuring proper resolution or escalation.
• Conduct exit interviews, analyze qualitative feedback regularly to glean insights for organizational improvement.
• Execute essential cyclical people programs in partnership with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate closely with People and Places teams, other departments within Twitch, and partners at Amazon.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (document creation, spreadsheet functions, calendar management).
• Capability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Effective communication skills suitable for diverse audiences, including explaining processes and resolving concerns.

Preferred Qualifications

• Academic background in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Management, Psychology, or related fields.
• HR certifications such as HRCI (PHR, SPHR) or SHRM are advantageous.
• Customer service or people-facing role experience demonstrating strong verbal and written communication.
• Analytical skills to interpret data, problem-solve, and make informed decisions.
• Intermediate Excel/Google Sheets expertise, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.
• Familiarity with AI-driven tools, HR analytics, and emerging technologies for process optimization.
• Strong organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a dynamic working environment.
• Proven aptitude for building collaborative partnerships across teams and adapting autonomously.
• Sound judgment and confidence in navigating uncertain situations with minimal supervision.
• Basic knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
• Demonstrated resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.

The salary range varies by location: Seattle, WA ($80,400 to $118,400 annually), San Francisco, CA ($74,400 to $130,200 annually), and New York, NY ($74,400 to $130,200 annually). Compensation packages include sign-on bonuses and restricted stock units.
