About the Role
The People Operations Coordinator position provides critical human resources support, acting as a dependable resource throughout the employee lifecycle. This role emphasizes delivering a smooth and effective colleague experience by combining prompt assistance, technology use, and ongoing process enhancements. Maintaining a positive workplace and supporting operational HR efficiency are key objectives of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for People Operations inquiries through all stages of the employee lifecycle.
- Provide empathetic and proactive colleague support with clear, solution-oriented communication.
- Evaluate and determine the best resolution approach including written responses, system-based solutions, or live interaction.
- Maintain detailed and accurate case notes in digital ticketing systems to ensure service continuity.
- Leverage HR systems and digital tools to efficiently resolve queries.
- Encourage use of self-service resources and assist colleagues with utilizing these tools.
- Identify opportunities to enhance tool adoption and improve process efficiency.
- Support data accuracy and maintain system integrity through meticulous execution.
- Propose and collaborate on solutions addressing recurring workflow challenges.
- Create and update documentation and job aids to assist team members.
- Assist with testing and implementing new tools or process modifications.
- Work closely with HR partners, Payroll, Benefits, and Recruiting teams to ensure coordinated service delivery.
- Escalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining ownership of colleague experience.
- Participate in audits, prepare reports, and contribute to special projects when required.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience in HR support, People Operations, or related service roles.
- Familiarity with HR processes within healthcare or multi-location organizations.
- A strong customer service approach demonstrating professionalism and responsiveness.
- Excellent written communication skills adapted to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work effectively remotely using multiple digital platforms.
- Capable of identifying and recommending process improvements.
- Strong organizational abilities and multitasking skills.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency with Excel.
- Experience with HR systems, preferably UKG and ticketing platforms.
- Experience or familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly pay range between 23 and 26 USD, with final compensation reflecting skills, experience, location, and qualifications.
