About The Role
Hippocratic AI is committed to the principle of "Do No Harm" and as the company grows, it is vital that the values that guide the organization remain integral. The People & Culture Program Manager is a specialized senior individual contributor role focused on embedding the company's five leadership principles into core systems related to hiring, performance evaluation, and employee development. This position involves creating frameworks and processes to ensure these principles are operational and authentically represented throughout the company culture, specifically by overseeing the interview processes, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms. This role requires influencing and partnering with teams and leaders without direct managerial authority.
Key Responsibilities
- Refine and embed Hippocratic AI's five leadership principles — Do No Harm, Patients First, Equal Access for All, Creativity, and Humanity — by translating them into clear, observable behaviors and assessment criteria.
- Design and implement structured interview processes reflecting these principles, including rubrics, interviewer calibration, bar-raiser frameworks, and disciplined candidate debriefs to ensure consistent and fair candidate evaluation.
- Incorporate leadership principles into performance evaluations, recognition, and promotion criteria to align hiring and internal growth processes.
- Develop and manage the "Voice of Hippocratic AI" employee feedback system using surveys, focus groups, and other engagement tools, converting insights into actionable leadership strategies.
- Promote diversity and inclusion by designing culture-add based hiring processes that mitigate affinity bias and foster diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required.
- At least 8 years of program management experience within People or HR organizations.
- Proven ability to influence and drive change without formal authority by building credibility, frameworks, and trusted relationships.
- Experience in operationalizing values or leadership principles into tangible and assessable behaviors in a growth-stage company.
- Expertise in structured interviewing techniques including rubric creation, interviewer training, calibration, and debrief facilitation at scale.
- Fluency in performance management systems, and embedding organizational values into evaluation and promotion processes.
- Skill in designing and implementing employee listening programs and distilling qualitative and quantitative feedback into meaningful actions.
- Strong judgment and discretion for collaborating on confidential, high-trust matters with founders and senior leaders, including candid upward feedback.
- A deep alignment with a mission centered on safety and the "Do No Harm" ethos within healthcare AI.

Workplace Environment & Location
