Pastoral Support Worker

Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Pastoral Support Worker to join a specialist education setting in Dibden Purlieu starting September 2026. This role involves assisting students who have social, emotional, and behavioural challenges by helping them manage their emotions, fostering positive relationships, and encouraging continued engagement in their education.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish rapport effectively and quickly with students.
• Maintain composure and patience in difficult or demanding situations.
• Serve as a positive role model for young learners.
• Support students in realizing their full potential through encouragement and guidance.

Requirements

• Possession of an Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.
• Prior experience working with children or young people.
• Availability on a full-time basis.

Additional Information

• Employment starts in September 2026.
• This is a temporary role with potential to transition into a permanent position.
• Compensation ranges from £93 to £100 per day.
