Established in 1999, Brightmont Academy offers personalized one-on-one instruction to students from 1st to 12th grade across 27 campuses nationwide. The Academy fosters a supportive learning environment tailored to each student's individual needs.

Role Overview

As an Academic Success Coach, you will oversee the Homework Studio—a supervised study space where students complete assignments, develop study skills, and prepare for exams independently. Your responsibility is to motivate and assist students during these sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction tailored specifically to each student's learning style.
• Guide students through a gradual mastery approach, building their confidence and academic success.
• Monitor and support students during Homework Studio sessions to encourage task completion and skill development.
• Focus entirely on student engagement without the burden of lesson planning, grading, or parent communications.
• Take advantage of opportunities for your professional growth within the institution.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area such as English, Social Studies, History, Government, or Economics.
• Demonstrate patience and empathy towards diverse learning styles and challenges.
• Exhibit a strong passion and commitment to teaching and mentoring students.
• Be proficient in using G-Suite applications and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Be able to complete fingerprinting (applicable for Arizona and Washington) and successfully pass a federal background check.

Work Environment & Schedule

This part-time role is onsite at the Chandler, Arizona campus. The schedule is flexible with no requirement for lesson planning or work outside scheduled hours.
