Operations Manager

Overview

Nexa Core HR Pvt. Ltd. is recruiting on behalf of a client in the food delivery and restaurant services sector for a full-time Operations Manager role based in Kolkata, Sector V. This position involves overseeing comprehensive operational tasks related to food delivery and restaurant partnerships, ensuring smooth day-to-day processes, managing teams, tracking business outcomes, and enhancing operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily operational functions effectively.
• Provide leadership and oversight to field executives, coordinators, and operational staff.
• Address operational escalations promptly and implement timely solutions.
• Oversee restaurant onboarding processes to ensure seamless activation.
• Analyze daily MIS reports and generate detailed operational performance analyses.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to promote ongoing improvements.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align operations.
• Use operational data to detect deficiencies and implement corrective measures.
• Streamline processes to boost productivity, service quality, and reduce costs.
• Conduct regular meetings, performance evaluations, and training for teams.
• Ensure achievement of operational targets and service-level agreements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Hospitality, or a related discipline; MBA preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum 3 to 7 years experience managing operations in food delivery, food service, restaurant chains, quick service restaurants, logistics, or supply chain domains.
• Experience managing operations across multiple locations is advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Google Sheets, Microsoft Office.
• Strong skills in operations management, team leadership, vendor relations, MIS reporting, KPI monitoring, process improvement, decision-making, and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication, time management, multitasking, and conflict resolution abilities.

Additional Information

• Preferred industry experience includes food delivery platforms, cloud kitchens, QSRs, food aggregators, hospitality operations, and last-mile delivery.
• The candidate should demonstrate leadership, accountability, strategic thinking, customer focus, operational excellence, and adaptability.

Compensation

Monthly salary ranges between 25000 and 35000 INR, determined by company standards and candidate experience.
