Overview
This permanent position is based in Burton and Lichfield, offering 40 hours per week in a company renowned for over 50 years of excellence in stock management, service, and people. As Hayley Dexis embarks on an exciting growth phase, the Onsite Support role is key to maintaining exceptional customer service through dynamic engagement.
Role Summary
The Onsite Support person serves as a critical link between the Burton branch team and the Onsite Management Team, participating in site leadership meetings, managing escalations from the stores team, and providing coverage during team absences. This role leverages expertise in engineering consumables and parts to identify improvement and business growth opportunities, connecting customers with category specialists to enhance value and explore new tender areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as liaison between branch and onsite management teams.
- Participate in site leadership meetings and serve as an escalation point for store issues.
- Provide support for team coverage during holidays and absences.
- Identify opportunities for customer and company benefit based on knowledge of engineering parts and consumables.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators alongside the branch team.
- Maintain site tidiness and contribute to team efforts.
- Uphold health, safety, and wellbeing standards across the site.
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong sales drive and commercial awareness.
- Preferably experience in Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) or related sectors.
- Ideal to have stores management or procurement experience, though not mandatory.
- Proficient communication skills for engagement across organizational levels.
- Full driving licence is required.
- Customer-oriented mindset focused on high-quality service delivery.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and cooperate effectively as part of a team.
