Odoo ERP Developer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Odoo ERP Developer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The role involves designing, developing, and testing Odoo modules and interfaces to support business operations. The developer will also maintain existing modules and contribute to new Odoo application development, including customization tasks. This is a full-time position requiring onsite presence in Doha.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and rigorously test Odoo modules, projects, and user interfaces.
• Maintain and enhance existing Odoo modules to ensure optimal functionality.
• Develop new Odoo applications by creating modules and customizing existing ones as needed.
• Document all assigned tasks and work performed with clarity and detail.
• Perform testing on new features and modifications in alignment with application support standards.
• Manage configuration, installation, and upkeep of hosting servers supporting multi-database Odoo environments.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• At least 3 years’ professional experience in Odoo development.
• Strong command of core Python and fundamental programming principles.
• Familiarity with frameworks and Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Knowledge of frontend development languages is advantageous.
• Understanding of software development life cycle, particularly within Agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to learn swiftly and implement solutions effectively.
• Well-developed communication, negotiation, and interpersonal relationship skills.
• Effective time management capabilities and skillful prioritization of responsibilities.
• Keen attention to detail paired with strong problem-solving aptitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
