Role Overview and Responsibilities
As a Network Lead based in Chennai, you will oversee the operational aspects of network management, ensuring smooth execution of tasks and team supervision. Your duties include managing shift teams, handling escalations promptly, and monitoring the team's performance and output. You will also be responsible for driving continuous process improvements and implementing permanent solutions to network challenges.
Core Technical Skills Required
- Expertise in routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
- Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN architectures.
- Fundamentals of network security including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Additional Preferred Skills
- Understanding of MPLS and Internet circuit management.
- Ability to lead initiatives for process enhancements and permanent fixes in network operations.
