Role Overview

This full-time, ongoing position based in Melbourne involves creating and managing digital multimedia content in various formats including graphics, video, animation, motion graphics, audio, and interactive web elements. The designer will be responsible for delivering polished assets across the product, website, social media channels, and advertising platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce 2D and 3D digital visuals, motion graphics, and animations suitable for web, social media, advertising, and products.
• Edit and create video and audio materials ranging from short social clips to comprehensive brand and product films.
• Develop user interface designs and interactive multimedia content for digital platforms.
• Create digital illustrations, graphics, and assets tailored to project creative requirements.
• Transform briefs, sketches, and specifications into final multimedia content across diverse formats.
• Ensure visual and brand consistency across all digital content.
• Generate digital advertisements and social media content in static, animated, and video forms.
• Collaborate with marketing, product teams, and leadership to identify content needs and deliver solutions.
• Organize and maintain multimedia assets and source files effectively.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of five years professional experience as a multimedia designer or in a similar role, skilled in creating content spanning graphics, video, animation, motion, UI, and web.
• Demonstrable portfolio or showreel showcasing multimedia and motion work beyond static graphics.
• Proficient with industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma.
• Capable of independently managing projects from initial concept through to completion.
• Exceptional attention to brand integrity, visual composition, and detail-oriented.

Formal educational qualifications are not mandatory. Employment decisions are based on skill demonstration and portfolio quality.

Compensation and Work Conditions

• Annual salary of $85,000 plus superannuation benefits.
• A pivotal design role with output visible to wide audiences.
• Work arrangement consists of four days per week onsite at the Melbourne office plus one day remotely flexible.
