Job Summary

The Mobile Refurbishment Technician role involves thoroughly inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, refurbishing, testing, and grading used smartphones. Candidates should have hands-on expertise with both iPhone and Android devices, capable of returning them to near-new condition through effective repair and refurbishment techniques.

Responsibilities

• Examine smartphones to identify hardware and operational faults.
• Execute refurbishment and repair to restore devices’ full working condition.
• Replace defective parts such as displays, batteries, charging ports, cameras, speakers, microphones, buttons, and back glass.
• Perform cosmetic improvements to meet company quality benchmarks.
• Grade smartphones based on appearance and functional status.
• Conduct thorough quality assurance and testing before device approval.
• Source and identify appropriate replacement components.
• Maintain repair documentation, including test results and refurbishment logs.
• Provide repair assessments and estimate material needs.
• Ensure final products meet all quality standards prior to packaging and dispatch.
• Keep repair tools and workstations in proper condition.
• Stay informed about latest smartphone models and repair methods.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and quality procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily refurbishment goals.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Certification in Mobile Phone Repair, Electronics, or related technical fields.
• At least three years of experience in smartphone refurbishment or repair.
• Background working in refurbishment companies, mobile repair workshops, or authorized service centers.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly salary between 35,000 and 40,000 INR, depending on experience.
