Mobile Cleaner II

About the Role

We are looking to hire a Mobile Cleaner II to deliver high-quality cleaning and maintenance services across a variety of commercial and industrial sites. This position combines routine maintenance tasks with specialized cleaning efforts to ensure safe, hygienic, and pleasant environments for clients. You will enjoy a role where you have independence and travel between multiple locations to complete your duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular cleaning duties such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing office spaces, common areas, and meeting rooms.
• Ensure washrooms are sanitized, stocked, and maintained to high standards.
• Manage waste removal and recycling processes efficiently.
• Clean interior glass surfaces and maintain entrance areas.
• Collect litter and maintain cleanliness around building exteriors.
• Execute specialized cleaning tasks including deep carpet and upholstery cleaning, and operation of advanced cleaning machinery such as auto scrubbers and carpet extractors.
• Maintain and restore hard floor surfaces by stripping, refinishing, polishing, and restorations.
• Perform pressure washing on exterior surfaces and pathways.
• Conduct detailed dusting and handle large-scale cleaning projects.
• Respond to emergency cleaning needs such as spills, leaks, floods, or contamination incidents.
• Remove snow and ice hazards from building entrances and walkways when necessary.
• Carry out quality inspections and site evaluations, documenting work through photos and reports.
• Report any facility maintenance issues and assist with minor equipment installs and repairs, including washroom dispensers.
• Manage logistics for cleaning equipment and supplies across multiple sites.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional cleaning roles.
• Proficient in operating professional cleaning machines and equipment.
• Good knowledge of cleaning methods, products, and industry best practices.
• Familiarity with WHMIS and workplace safety regulations.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and dependable transportation.

Work Conditions

Additional Information

• This is a full-time permanent position with a salary range of $46,476 to $52,000 annually, determined by experience, education, and performance.
