MIS Executive

About the Role

Crescendo supports micro-entrepreneurs and small borrowers by providing credit through field teams engaged in daily sourcing and servicing. As a business correspondent operation, we seek a meticulous MIS Executive responsible for managing the reporting framework for these field operations. You will transform raw, disorganized operational data into accurate, actionable reports utilized by leadership and field staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, update, and manage daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and dashboards covering field operations, collections, and portfolio performance.
• Aggregate data from diverse sources including field systems, spreadsheets, and exports into consistent, standardized forms.
• Perform data cleansing and validation by addressing duplicates, format discrepancies, missing data, and record mismatches.
• Cross-verify data across sources, identify discrepancies, and resolve them prior to report generation.
• Streamline repetitive report generation through automation to minimize manual work.
• Handle on-demand data requests from operations and leadership teams promptly.
• Maintain organized documentation, labels, and version control for all reporting files.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient in Excel including advanced functions like VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, pivot tables, conditional formatting, IF logic, and text manipulations.
• Experience cleaning and restructuring unorganized raw data into usable datasets.
• Highly organized with an emphasis on systematic file and report management.
• Strong attention to detail ensuring data accuracy and error prevention.
• Reliable in meeting deadlines consistently for report submissions.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of lending, business correspondent operations, or financial services data.
• Exposure to Google Sheets, Power Query, or basic SQL.
• Understanding of collections, delinquency buckets, and field operations metrics.

Educational & Experience Requirements

• Graduate degree in any discipline; Commerce, Finance, or Statistics preferred.
• 1 to 3 years experience in MIS, data operations, or reporting roles.
