Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Mental Health Program Coordinator to become part of the Mindrift team. This role involves managing the design, execution, and assessment of mental health programs and initiatives. The coordinator will ensure the provision of high-quality services tailored to the diverse needs of our clients. Candidates should have excellent organizational abilities, empathetic communication, and be adept at collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and monitor mental health programs in line with organizational objectives and community demands.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to guarantee smooth program delivery and resource allocation.
- Conduct assessments and gather participant feedback to enhance program efficiency and impact.
- Oversee program budgets, track expenditures, and ensure adherence to funding guidelines.
- Lead training and supervision for staff, volunteers, and interns involved in program activities.
- Maintain precise documentation, reporting, and evaluations to measure outcomes and effects.
- Promote mental health awareness and encourage community participation through advocacy initiatives.
- Keep abreast of the latest research, trends, and policies in mental health care to guide program refinement.
- Represent the organization at relevant conferences, workshops, and community gatherings to build partnerships and share knowledge.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, public health or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Substantial experience in program management, mental health services, or community outreach.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, colleagues, and partners.
- Familiarity with mental health policy frameworks and best practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and project management software tools.
