Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical input for pricing, reimbursement, and access initiatives and act as a medical expert in business engagements.
  • Develop and deliver training for sales and medical personnel and contribute to promotional material creation.
  • Build and maintain scientific relationships with experts, thought leaders, and professional societies nationally and internationally.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and global policies governing data dissemination and Health Care Provider interactions.
  • Lead scientific presentations at conferences, advisory boards, and in medical education programs while supporting publications and congress activities.
  • Collaborate on clinical trial design, execution, informed consent review, and investigational studies; contribute to alignment of late-phase clinical trials.
  • Assist regulatory teams in labeling development and provide medical expertise to regulatory committees.
  • Stay abreast of clinical practices and trends in neuroscience and oncology to guide scientific and clinical strategies effectively.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Medical degree (MD, DO, MBChB, or MBBS) with registration from a recognized licensing body.
  • Board eligibility or certification in neuroscience or oncology, or equivalent post-graduate clinical training relevant to the hiring country.
  • Graduated from an accredited medical school listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools or equivalent.
  • At least five years of experience in Medical Affairs with clinical or research expertise in neuroscience focused on dementia; oncology experience advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English is essential; fluency in Spanish is a significant advantage. Additional regional languages are welcomed.
  • Strong understanding of drug development processes in the respective region preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and foster a collaborative environment.

Additional Job Requirements

  • Prior leadership experience across therapeutic areas and multiple geographies.
  • Capability to lead and direct both internal teams and external collaborators efficiently.
  • Excellent planning, execution, and people management abilities.
  • Competency in interpreting and communicating complex scientific data with strong presentation skills.
  • Effective management of medical budgets and teamwork in cross-functional environments.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the Alliances regions and internationally (estimated 30% or more).
