Manual Test Specialist

Overview

We seek a proficient Manual Test Specialist to thoroughly assess enterprise integration platforms and their applications. This role involves close collaboration with developers, business analysts, and solution architects aimed at delivering top-quality software solutions.

Key Duties

• Devise and conduct manual test cases to ensure software integrity.
• Execute various testing types including Functional, Regression, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Validate APIs and middleware connections thoroughly.
• Detect, report, and monitor software defects utilizing defect tracking systems.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and produce detailed execution reports.
• Work closely with multiple teams across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Required Expertise

• At least four years of hands-on Manual Testing experience.
• Proficient in Integration and API Testing methodologies.
• Understanding of REST APIs and SOA architectural principles.
• Familiarity with issue tracking platforms such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Basic ability to write and use SQL queries for verifying data consistency.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or SOAP UI.
• Experience with enterprise integration systems is advantageous.
• Understanding of Agile development processes beneficial.
