Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Credit Valuation specialists, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal team utilization.
- Serve as the key liaison between KGS and onshore stakeholders, managing communication and coordination.
- Oversee valuation projects involving fixed income and credit instruments such as senior and subordinated debt, secured and unsecured debt, distressed debt, and commercial real estate mortgages, exercising independent judgment and driving project progress.
- Ensure delivery of accurate, consistent, and timely valuation reports and client outputs.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with onshore teams to support business goals and growth.
- Take full responsibility for generating business, delivering quality project execution, and managing team performance.
- Lead recruitment, professional development, and performance evaluation activities within the team.
- Contribute to practice development initiatives both within KGS and the United States operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Expert-level proficiency in advanced valuation methodologies for illiquid assets including corporate and distressed debt.
- Hands-on experience developing and working with financial models.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the broader economic and business landscape.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at managing complex client interactions.
- Strong analytical abilities combined with effective problem-solving skills.
