Role Overview
As the Flight Supply Manager overseeing Singapore and Malaysia, you will take a central role in expanding Agoda’s flight offerings in these key markets. You will lead commercial partnership strategies, negotiations, and develop strong relationships with airline suppliers, directly impacting Agoda’s growth and presence in the region. This role involves high-level collaboration across product, marketing, finance, and legal teams and requires you to operate independently as Agoda's commercial ambassador in-market, liaising with executive partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement market strategies for Singapore and Malaysia, prioritizing growth, profitability, and sustainable competitive advantages.
- Lead commercial negotiations focusing on pricing, supply, and contract terms with airline partners to optimize Agoda’s offerings.
- Serve as the aviation market expert for Singapore and Malaysia, providing insights that influence Agoda’s overall product and growth strategies.
- Establish and nurture senior-level partner relationships to drive collaborative initiatives enhancing revenue, distribution, and customer experience.
- Coordinate with regional supply, operations, and product teams to ensure partners’ operational needs are fulfilled.
- Leverage data analytics to guide strategic decisions, uncover opportunities, and iterate solutions for continuous improvement.
- Innovate by designing and launching new commercial and distribution models and customer features to stimulate growth.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience within the flights, online travel agency, or airline sectors, with significant involvement in commercial negotiations and market strategy, preferably in Singapore and Malaysia.
- A proven history of achieving measurable growth through strategic partnerships and careful execution.
- Strong commercial insight enabling a balance between immediate outcomes and longer-term market development.
- Excellent communication and executive presence in English and Mandarin, capable of steering complex discussions at senior levels.
- An entrepreneurial attitude with practical experience adapting to fast-paced, uncertain environments.
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to use data effectively to support stakeholder decisions.
- Experience managing comprehensive business plans involving multiple functions including commercial, operational, legal, and marketing aspects.
