Job Overview
The Corporate Tax Advisory team assists businesses with understanding corporate taxation and fulfilling Australian Taxation Office (ATO) filing requirements. We support multinational firms in navigating tax complexities across multiple jurisdictions by leveraging both our local and global expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Building and nurturing relationships with clients to comprehend their business needs and identify growth opportunities.
- Leading multiple projects varying in scale and complexity.
- Offering expert advice to clients on intricate tax issues.
- Drafting thoroughly researched and clear tax opinions.
- Mentoring and guiding junior tax consultants.
Candidate Profile
- Ability to deliver polished client-ready materials and confidently present them to senior leadership for feedback.
- A proactive mindset that seeks continuous growth, challenges conventions, and embraces stepping beyond comfort zones.
- A positive approach combined with creativity in problem-solving using appropriate technical tools and collaboration.
Experience and Qualifications
- Prior corporate tax experience within a professional services or legal environment; in-house tax experience will also be considered.
- Expertise in Australian taxation.
- Proven capability to prepare well-reasoned tax opinions with clarity.
- A degree in law and/or commerce is advantageous.
