About Clarus

Role Overview
As a LPG Project Engineer with Rockgas under Clarus, you will play a central role in maintaining and enhancing LPG infrastructure across the southern region. Reporting to the LPG Engineering Manager, you will combine technical expertise with project management skills to ensure the safety, reliability, and future readiness of LPG storage, distribution, and reticulation assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain asset integrity and reliability by overseeing maintenance, asset management, and engineering support for LPG infrastructure.
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of projects such as bulk tank installations and site upgrades.
- Manage safety, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, incident investigations, and activities related to Major Hazard Facilities.
- Collaborate with contractors, customers, regulators, and industry partners to deliver safe and quality project outcomes.
- Provide technical leadership by advising on engineering matters and driving continuous improvements in standards, processes, and asset performance.
Candidate Profile
- Possess relevant engineering, mechanical, or technical qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
- Have a background in utilities, infrastructure, energy, manufacturing, or other regulated sectors.
- Demonstrate solid project management experience and excellent stakeholder and contractor relationship skills.
- Understand health, safety, and engineering compliance obligations.
- Show excellent communication abilities and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Display integrity, professionalism, and accountability in all work.
- Prior experience with LPG, gas infrastructure, pressure equipment, or Major Hazard Facilities is beneficial but not mandatory.
