About the Role

This position is responsible for overseeing logistics and supply chain activities end to end, with a focus on building effective replenishment systems and distribution planning across all levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Give priority to shipments currently in transit, especially for urgent or short-category requirements across all regions.
• Review freight costs each month against prevailing market prices and work with vendors to keep transportation spend under control.
• Partner with the IT team to create additional reports that improve shipment visibility at all times.
• Coordinate with multiple vendors to strengthen service quality and manage shipment costs for Qatar while meeting KPI targets.
• Improve operating efficiency and address risk areas such as SASO-compliant goods, direct-to-store deliveries in KSA, and lower detention charges.
• Optimize truck loading for KSA shipments by using longer trucks to reduce freight cost.
• Supervise a team of logistics associates and share knowledge that helps improve efficiency throughout the export process.
• Plan routes for all regions in line with government regulations and shorter transit times.
• Ensure requirements from government authorities are met for high-risk product categories such as toys, cosmetics, and electronics so clearance and delivery run smoothly.
• Prepare and evaluate monthly KPI reports to manage costs and transit times effectively.
• Hold regular meetings with vendors to raise service levels.
• Send weekly and monthly updates and alerts to stakeholders to improve shipment visibility and support inventory movement from origin to destination.
