  • Work closely with application teams during deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Configure and oversee network elements including switches, VLANs, and routing for baremetal clusters.
  • Maintain secure, effective network connectivity between OCP clusters and broader enterprise systems.
  • Assist with Oracle database deployment and integration in Linux and OCP settings.
  • Collaborate with database administrators to maximize performance and reliability.
  • Document migration workflows, architectural designs, and operational procedures comprehensively.
  • Develop and enforce best practices regarding cluster management and disaster recovery strategies.

Technical Expertise and Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Linux system administration, preferably RHEL or CentOS.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with OpenShift Container Platform, including cluster setup and migration.
  • Proven skills in baremetal server provisioning and cluster engineering.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles such as TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with Oracle database environments and Linux integration.
  • Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or equivalents.
  • Knowledge of VMware virtualization platforms and migration approaches.
  • Certification as a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent.
