Role Overview

As a Line Coordinator based onsite in Napier, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand, you will be responsible for leading and managing multiple production lines within the Production Manufacturing team. This role focuses on collaborating with key stakeholders, including Integrated Production Unit leaders, Planning and Fulfilment teams, Manufacturing Engineers, and Quality and Production Development personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee production lines to meet operational goals, ensuring product quality by utilizing ABB’s tools such as NCR database and Kaizen app.
• Handle essential production administrative duties like entering time and attendance data, managing material picking, confirming yields, and booking finished products.
• Coordinate sequencing of product builds, manage documentation, material deliveries, and timelines to align with production schedules and meet On-Time Delivery (OTD) KPIs.
• Promote continuous improvement culture by applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies, resolving quality concerns, and facilitating effective cross-team communication.
• Collaborate with a dynamic team focused on problem-solving, supporting each other, and upholding high-quality production standards.

Candidate Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles and manufacturing processes.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving operational targets.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel, along with expertise in assembly tools and procedures.
• Extensive experience in assembly operations, including interpreting technical schematics, blueprints, and following detailed instructions.
• Capability in utilizing light hand tools and adhering to standard operating procedures to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Must possess permanent legal authorization to work in New Zealand.
