Role Summary

This full-time hybrid position for a Legal Translator is based in Riyadh and allows flexibility to work from home. The key responsibility is translating legal and official documents between languages, ensuring accurate legal meaning, structure, and terminology. The Legal Translator will prepare and format legal documents, conform to applicable legal requirements, and align translations with Intento-Ai’s certified workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Review AI-assisted draft translations, edit and finalize content.
• Perform quality assurance for linguistic and legal accuracy.
• Collaborate with licensed translation offices to facilitate digital certification and verification.
• Maintain and update terminology databases and glossaries.
• Adhere to internal style guides and security protocols.
• Support continuous enhancement of translation standards and processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possession of a valid certified translation license from the Literature, Publishing & Translation Commission.
• Strong understanding of law and legal systems to accurately interpret and translate legal concepts.
• Expertise in legal document preparation, including formatting and structuring official and court documents.
• Proficiency in translating contracts, judgments, corporate records, and regulatory materials.
• Effective management of legal terminology to ensure consistent and precise usage.
• Fluent written and oral communication in Arabic and English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Experience in legal or certified translation, particularly for official and cross-border documents.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Translation, Linguistics, or related disciplines; additional legal translation certifications are beneficial.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to confidentiality.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a hybrid setting, managing deadlines and quality standards.

Compensation and Terms

This role operates on a commission basis, with payment issued weekly for each completed translation job. Translators will receive pre-prepared translated documents via the company's patent-pending platform, which they must review, make necessary modifications, and submit for certification.
