Lead Engineer - Generative AI & Frontend Development

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Frontend and Generative AI Engineer to develop state-of-the-art, secure, and user-friendly web applications targeted at Risk management solutions. This position combines expert-level React frontend development with advanced Generative AI and agentic workflow creation using LangChain and LangGraph technologies.

Key Responsibilities and Skills Required

• Expertise in React including modern hooks, component design, and state management approaches.
• Strong Python programming skills to create GenAI services, orchestration layers, and system integrations.
• Ability to write well-structured, easily maintainable, and testable code alongside effective debugging and troubleshooting abilities.
• Proven experience working with GenAI and agent frameworks, especially LangChain and LangGraph.
• Competence in designing agent workflows using tool integration, structured output formulation, prompt engineering, routing mechanisms, and fallback handling strategies.
• Understanding of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns and recognized challenges such as hallucinations, retrieval drift, and injection issues.
• Capability to architect solutions that are cloud-agnostic and can be deployed across major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or on-premises containerized environments.
• Familiarity with databases including SQL/NoSQL options and vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, pgvector, or Elastic vector search.

Additional Valuable Skills

• Experience in API design and integration using REST or GraphQL and effective backend collaboration.
• Knowledge of Responsible AI principles including auditability, traceability, and model risk management.
• Exposure to Risk, Compliance, and Audit sectors is advantageous though not mandatory.

Eligibility and Experience

Candidates must have a graduate degree and demonstrate proficiency in ReactJS, Python, and LangChain. Proven involvement in delivering at least one production-grade Generative AI application utilizing these technologies is mandatory. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders are essential.
