Land Surveyor

Role overview

Woh Hup Group is looking for a Land Surveyor to support surveying work across all stages of a construction project. The role focuses on producing precise site measurements, calculations, and survey outputs that can be relied on for project execution and coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Check survey readings, measurements, and calculations to make sure the data gathered on site is correct.
• Create and keep updated survey sketches, maps, and reports that document the work completed and support accountability for the results.
• Carry out geodetic calculations and analyse survey data to identify positions, dimensions, and elevations of terrain and other land features.
• Identify and set out locations for geophysical prospecting work, including activities related to finding petroleum or other mineral resources.
• Design and perform surveys to establish reference lines, elevation points, and other geodetic benchmarks.
• Work closely with engineers, architects, clients, and other stakeholders to align survey findings with site requirements.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain safe working practices at all times.

Requirements

• A diploma in Land Surveying or Geospatial Information and Technology is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in the construction industry is needed.
• Candidates should have completed at least one full building project cycle with a project value of no less than $100M.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are important for this role.

This position covers surveying responsibilities throughout the complete lifecycle of a construction project. The role is based onsite in Singapore.
