Role overview
REWE is hiring cooks for a new store opening in Berlin-Charlottenburg, at Tauentzienstraße 9-21, 10789 Berlin, in the Europacenter ground floor. The position starts in November 2026 and can be filled in either full-time or part-time, with a weekly schedule of 30 to 37 hours. The employment is open-ended.
You will join a neighborhood retail team where the focus is on making every customer feel welcome while supporting the day-to-day food counter and fresh food service.
What the job involves
- Prepare meals and snacks according to customer requests.
- Keep the product presentation appealing and maintain high standards of freshness and cleanliness.
- Advise customers in a friendly and knowledgeable way and provide attentive service.
- Check incoming goods and carry out regular quality and freshness inspections.
- Ensure your work area stays clean and well organized at all times.
What the employer is looking for
- A completed vocational qualification as a cook or a similar background through training or work experience in gastronomy is preferred.
- Interest in retail and enjoyment in dealing with people.
- Strong customer focus, good communication skills, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility.
- Willingness to learn new things.
- Availability for early shifts from Monday to Saturday, between 06:00 and 14:00.
