Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate kindness, authenticity, and promote an inclusive, safe environment for both customers and colleagues.
• Deliver exemplary customer service by recommending and assembling product selections tailored to customer needs.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to uphold our company culture and ensure a welcoming space.
• Operate POS systems (Lightspeed POS) for processing sales, voids, discounts, and promotions.
• Manage store opening and closing procedures reliably.
• Resolve problems professionally and adapt to unforeseen situations flexibly.
• Continuously expand knowledge of cannabis products, strains, categories, and accessories.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and generate reports as required.
• Comply with all regulatory standards, company policies, and procedures consistently.
• Work independently with confidence and responsibility.
• Perform merchandising and restocking duties to maintain product availability.
• Engage with our in-house cannabis and sales education program to enhance expertise.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Possess valid Sellsafe (Alberta) or Cannsell (Ontario) cannabis certification.
• Verify customer age and eligibility before sales transactions.
• Deeply understand and respect regulatory requirements and hold current cannabis qualifications.
• Communicate reliably and clearly within the team.
• Exude enthusiasm, friendliness, and pride in contributing to the recreational cannabis industry and culture.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be of legal age with a valid license for the province of employment (non-negotiable).
• Retail or customer service background preferred.
• Proficiency with POS systems is expected.
• Time management skills to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
• Flexibility to work at various store locations to gain more hours and development opportunities.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle lifting up to 25 lbs.
